BMW Combo Doubles Sectional Tournament
Baton Rouge, LA January 27-29, 2008
• Levels: Men’s 60 & over: 6.5, 7.5, 8.5
Women’s 60 & over: 6.5, 7.5, 8.5
• Teams must be registered in tennis link by Dec.15, 2007. Teams
will play Sunday through Tuesday depending on number of teams
entered.
• Surface: Clay Lamar Tennis Center (YMCA) Bocage Tennis Center
• Schedule will be posted at www.southerncombo.com by Dec. 15th.
• Captains Meeting, Saturday Jan.26th at 4:00pm. at the Lamar TC
(YMCA).
• Three individual doubles matches per team match. Minimum six
players per team.
• Doubles partners’ combined NTRP ratings may not exceed level:
Example: 3.0 & 3.5 may play 6.5; 3.5 & 4.0 may play 7.5; 4.0 & 4.5
may play 8.5
• No limitation as long as team does not exceed level entered:
Example: 3.0 and 4.5 may play 7.5
• If more than one team per state registers in a level, the state
will determine whether to schedule a playoff or to accept teams in
the order of entries received. Wildcards will be issued to fill
draws to maximum of ten teams.
• Full Draws will guarantee each team four matches in flight and the
two flight winners will play a Championship Match.
• Players may also compete on one BMW Combo Doubles Adult or Senior
team but may not compete on two adult, two senior or two super
senior teams.
• All other regulations and tournament information for the 2007 BMW
Combo Doubles Sectional Championships will apply.
• Entry Fee: $20.00 per player includes t-shirt, captain’s gift,
balls, player party, awards for champions and finalists.
• Players will use 2006 NTRP ratings unless their 2007 rating has
been lowered. Captains will indicate players’ NTRP rating on entry
form. Players without NTRP ratings may self-rate according to the
NTRP Guidelines.
